Job Description
A Salesforce Administrator manages and configures the Salesforce platform, ensuring it is optimized to meet the organization’s business needs. They support users, maintain data integrity, manage permissions, and develop reports and dashboards for insights. The Salesforce Administrator works closely with stakeholders to customize the platform, implement workflows, and streamline processes, making Salesforce an effective tool for business operations and decision-making.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the Salesforce environment, including user setup, data integrity, and security controls.
Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and process automations to meet business requirements.
Create and manage reports, dashboards, and data analytics to provide insights and support decision-making.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing support to Salesforce users across departments.
Conduct regular data audits and backups to ensure data accuracy and compliance with data governance policies.
Train and onboard users, providing guidance on Salesforce best practices and enhancing user adoption.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement new features, integrations, or enhancements.
Maintain documentation for system changes, configurations, and user training.

Education
:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) or Advanced Administrator Certification. Experience with Salesforce integrations, such as APIs, and third-party applications. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Experience
:2+ years of experience in Salesforce administration:Hands-on experience configuring and managing Salesforce to meet evolving business needs. Familiarity with Salesforce best practices, including security, data integrity, and customization. Experience with Salesforce customizations and process automation:Proficient in creating custom objects, fields, and validation rules, as well as automating processes using Flow or Process Builder. Ability to implement workflows, approval processes, and task automation to improve user efficiency. Proven ability to manage data and ensure system accuracy:Experience in data import/export, data cleanup, and using tools like Data Loader to manage large datasets. Conducted regular data quality checks and maintained best practices for data governance. Experience providing user support and training:Skilled in resolving user issues, answering questions, and conducting training sessions to enhance system knowledge. Developed documentation and training materials to support user adoption and ongoing education. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams:Worked closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to identify system requirements and implement solutions that align with business goals. Provided insights and support for reports and dashboards, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Skill
:Strong knowledge of Salesforce administration, including object management, security settings, and data management. Proficiency in Salesforce tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Reports & Dashboards. Ability to create and manage custom fields, record types, page layouts, and validation rules. Knowledge of data migration tools like Data Loader or Salesforce Import Wizard. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and training skills to work effectively with non-technical users.
